Nice comfortable stay. It's a little outside the town , but that helps actually since too much vehicle polution in the town centre. There's a taxi stand just opposite the homestay so u can take share cab at Rs.15 per passenger. Though climate gets very cold after 3 pm , the owners gave an electric blanket which helped a lot. For airport transfer the driver appointed by Mr Samir the manager was very experienced. He dropped us in just 2.5 hours to the airport with some shortcut routes. In peak season of mid April to June expect traffic jams of an hour or two. An experienced driver knowing shortcuts helps in avoiding traffic and reaching in time. The homestay is definitely worth a try.

The place is located before the main market area of Darjeeling and is more of a hotel rather than homestay. Attached bathroom with geyser and electric kettle and room service. The wifi worked very well, I was able to get some office work done. The main market is accessible by shared taxis for Rs 15, which was fine for us because the main town is very crowded and here we could take walks and wake up to the view of the hills and Mt kanchenjunga. The staff went extra mile to help us and prepared customized food for my aged mother. I would always stay here whenever I come back to Darjeeling

I had seen much propaganda about this hotel on youtube. Made advance booking and decided to give it a try. It can not be termed a homestay as the owner stays elsewhere after her marriage. Small rooms, bad food, bad WIFI connection and poor TV network. Situated at Dali, far from the town. If you have a longer car, you have to worry about it constantly, as the parking area barely fits one small hatchback only. Changed my hotel on my second day of stay and moved to a better hotel.

Overhyped place. Saw nice reviews somewhere, but this place is away from the main town, TV does not work, WIFI virtually non existent, bad food, cheating owners, severe car parking problem. I was so disappointed that I moved elsewhere after staying here for just two days, though I was fortunate to get a refund.

The food is not up to the mark. Behavior of the staffs was not good. I do not recommend people to go there and stay there. Even the owners of the home stay is arrogant. And yes, the toilet is not clean.
